The Cursed Doubloon

Grace Hayes hates pirates. But when her mother dies from an illness she moves on board her father's ship and attempts to spend the rest of her days with the boisterous crew, even though it is the last thing she wants to subject herself to. Due to her father's obsession with the Cursed Doubloon, she takes pity on him and decides to humor his attempts at trying to find the location of his hidden treasure, that of which the Cursed Doubloon has made him forget.
As their ship steers into the fog after a storm, they hear the faint echoing of a man's melodic voice. Grace is instantly entranced by whoever is responsible for singing the lyrics and convinces her father to listen. After they are guided to safety she goes in search of the stranger, only to find herself staring in disbelief at one of the most beautiful mythical creatures she has ever seen.
