Goddess of Water (The Elementals #2)
Marteeka Karland

Cronos, chief priest for the goddess of water knows his goddess has reached the end of her endurance. He’s tried to keep his distance because he knew Jada couldn’t handle being mated to anyone, let alone one of the priesthood. Not after the way the others fed off her power and the ambrosia of her body. Loathing himself for being unable to protect her because of his own ignorance of how the Life Dome of Atlantis worked, he finally resolves to tolerate the abuse no longer. If Atlantis dies, so be it.
Only Raphael sees the impossible situation both Jada and Cronos have endured. As a priest to the air goddess, the archangel sees things from a different prospective. While he’d had enough of Jada’s suffering, he also realizes the three of them will have to have help if they are to save Atlantis and her people.
But the goddess of water has more duties than simply to her city. She has a duty and responsibility to all water on earth, and it’s past time she assumed those duties. But if she is to be the goddess she was born to be, she must push past her distaste of intimacy, especially with Cronos and Raphael. In order to save the world from water’s steady and devastating wrath, she must embrace the only man she’s ever loved and learn to love a man she’s only just met.
