Turned Alpha by K. S. Martin, Lea Ellen Borg
Lily is on a secret mission. She reports all goings on at the local police department to her Alpha. Her mission: observe and report. She is not to engage with or make friends with anyone there. She is not crazy about her job but her Alpha wants her there. What the Alpha says goes; his word is law. Until they bring in the most gorgeous wolf she’s ever seen and all of her female parts cry out for him. When her captain decides that she has to take the prisoner home until his hearing, she knows she will no longer follow the Alpha’s orders.
A rogue shifter killed his Alpha and he killed the rogue, which is when the cops showed up. They arrested him and hauled him in. Upon arriving at the station, he scented her, his mate. His wolf almost broke out, but she calmed it, and in that instant, the beast decided that she was his.
Now she must choose the Alpha she knows or the Alpha she wants. Should she stay with the Alpha that offers safety and security, a warm bed and food on the table? Or does she rebel and go with the gorgeous wolf that can only offer her love without any of the comforts that she’s used to?
