A Sheik for Rose by Lizabeth Scott
Rose overheard her boss, the only reason they chose her to represent Royston Oil was because Sheik Rashid had a thing for blonde busty women. Instead of getting angry at their obvious stereotyping she decided to show them a thing or two. She would get the Sheik's signature on the oil processing rights by using nothing more than her skills and intelligence. It was time she shook up the “Old Boy’s Club.”
What Rose hadn’t planned on was the infuriating rudeness of Sheik Rashid. But, she had a plan. He had cancelled on her for the last time. Little did Rose know, but her plan would lead to a night of unrivaled sensuality and pleasure at the hands of one annoying Sheik.
Please enjoy this short EXCERPT from the 49K, complete adult novel, A Sheik for Rose:
Today was the fifth day her meeting had been cancelled. She had been there a week and still his highness had not had the time to meet with her. Rose gasped, three girls came out of his suite. She didn’t even try to hide her astonishment as the girls walked past her. “Three? Really?”
One of the guards looked at her with disapproval. She didn’t realize she had said that out loud. She slowly turned and made her way back down the hallway. His highness, the royal player, was not going to see her today was he? Tomorrow she was not leaving until he granted her an audience.
Unfortunately, the next morning, it was more of the same.
“I’m sorry ma’am, but his Highness will be unable to see you today.”
“No!” Rose slapped her appointment card on his desk. “I have been here a week trying to see him. He can’t keep doing this to me. He has to take a break sometime, doesn’t he? I mean how much stamina can he have?”
The man looked at Rose with disdain and said something under his breath that sounded like, “rude American” as he looked on the computer screen in front of him. “Sheik Rashid is late in returning from a tribal meeting in the north. He sends his apologies, but he will be unable to meet with you. Perhaps I can see what is available on Monday.”
“Monday!” She really didn’t mean to shriek like that.
“Yes, the prince does not conduct business on the weekends.”
“He evidently doesn’t conduct business during the week either”, she muttered under her breath.
“Excuse me, ma’am. I didn’t catch that?”
“Monday will be fine.” Rose forced out with a smile, then turned and walked out, stopping at her usual place to observe the Sheik’s suite of rooms. There were no guards posted. That must mean that he really was away from the palace.
