Never, Never: A Curvy Fairytale
Leanore Ellliott, Wicked Muse Productions

After I wrote this naughty adaptation of my favorite childhood tale, I couldn’t watch the various Peter Pan versions on film anymore. I suppose I ruined the innocence of the tale in my own mind. While writing it, I told friends, “Walt Disney is gonna haunt me from his grave for this!” I also changed Wendy considerably. She and Tinkerbelle are curvy well rounded women in this book. I think that may be the only part that old Walt would have approved of.
I also never thought it was fair to Tinkerbelle, for Peter to always crush on Wendy, while Wendy could care less. We all knew how Tink felt about him and that he never saw her like he should have. I gave Hook his REAL due in this book too, what villain isn’t kinda sexy as the bad boy? I suppose I wanted to right what I felt were wrongs in the story. Ego? Maybe, but imagination is what fueled this fantasy of an Adult Fairytale.
So, after you read this, just be prepared to get naughty visions in your mind, when you hear a certain line in the movie or see the characters do a certain action or even sing a certain song. So sorry, but I didn’t realize this funny side effect when I wrote it.
Hee-hee,
