Snow Wolf by K.S. Martin, Lea Ellen Borg
Liam Anderson was the hottest man on the planet. At least that's what Amy believed, so did the hoards of women that he dated. He was with a different leggy blonde every time she saw him. It made her angry that a man that was as brilliant as he found it necessary to spend his time with empty headed, ninety-pound twits. What bothered her most about it was that they were always her direct opposite in every way. She never saw him with anyone even slightly resembling herself. Amy was a brilliant scientist and his intellectual equal but he never seemed to notice her except to give her that smug look when he walked by with his latest conquest. She still looked at him though, because he haunted her daytime and nighttime thoughts.
The curvy brunette that sat on the bench eating lunch and reading those trashy novels never paid him any attention. Since the first day he spotted her though his wolf had pushed at him, something it never did before. It wasn’t interested in the least in any woman he’d dated in the last century until her. He’d tried everything now. He’d tried strolling by alone and with women to make her jealous but to no avail. She only gave him those angry sideways glances that very clearly said ‘back off’. He’d tried everything that he could think of so he would have to resort to old-fashioned trickery. He was taking her on an expedition to the glacier that he’d found. They would be out there alone for a week and she would be his, he was looking forward to taming that temper.
