I was on cloud nine knowing that Brad was going to be one room away the entire summer. My day was going great, aside from one argument I had with my dad in front of his soon-to-be wife and her son. I was ready to meet another one of the boys. He couldn't be that bad, I thought. He was Brad's brother.
When the front door opened and I heard his voice, the hair on the back of my neck stood and my body shivered. Jen rounded the bend and introduced me to her son. I felt every emotion possible, as I looked back and forth between the man that was sitting next to me and the one that was standing in front of me.
"Twins," I whispered.
My world was crashing down around me.
I had made the biggest mistake of my life.
Our parents were getting married in one week, and I had one job to do. I needed to make sure their wedding happened no matter what. I just had to figure out how I was going to avoid my evil stepbrother and keep my love from finding out what had happened.
I knew I was going to lose the man that meant everything to me. There was no way our parents were going to lose their chance at love too.
It was only one week. How bad could it be?
