Sam feels like an ordinary human, but he looks like someone else entirely. Doll-faced, physically perfect and pale, he can’t deny it anymore. He’s a vampire.
Thankfully, the Clan is far away and there’s no safer place for him than in his sire’s arms. His creator is affectionate and doting. He’s not terrible to look at either, now that his flesh has begun to heal. However, Sam can’t bring himself to eat, and like any good parent, his sire is insistent on providing a fresh meal.
Sam is startled and dismayed to find out that he knows the person caught by his well-meaning sire.
Feed is a novella of about 27k or 90 pages.
