Pitcher Plant Feeding Cycles: An Observational Study (Bound by Ink) by Debrah Deumont
Phan Trai is a PI in a big city. Not the best in the world, but if you're looking for a missing person, Trai's the one to call. So when Sahar Avesta of Avesta Brothers Live Science and Technology calls him to find his twin, Jale, he visits the towering building for an interview.

The Avesta Brothers are only the biggest government contractor in the city. Solving such a high-profile case will land Trai and his company on some impressive radars. He's prepared to dig deep to win this one.

But things go pear-shaped from the moment Trai meets Sahar. The scientist is more enthralled with his plant experiment than answering Trai's interview questions, then an assault on the building sends them both into an emergency lockdown.

Stuck together in the crash room, Trai seeks more information, but all he finds are more questions. There's a kinky porno in the bathroom that Trai is not prepared to enjoy. And then Sahar's favored plant experiment proves it has a mind of its own.

Assaulted and shaken, Trai's ready to leave. Even the publicity of solving this case isn't worth it. But an even bigger experiment has overrun the hallways and the only way out is up to the Avesta Brothers' greenhouse...
