It's Halloween night, and I feel absolutely miserable. It's freezing outside, for one thing, and I'm stuck handing out piece after piece of unappreciated candy to a bunch of entitled children, although I know this isn't the deeper, true cause of my discontent. I begin to fantasize, thoughts of my mysterious and elusive neighbor Alec flooding through my head as the water washes over my body, and this settles me down to a considerable degree. After some time, I emerge once more, stepping back out onto my stoop for some fresh air, the Trick or Treaters now gone and the night black and desolate. That's when I'm surprised to find Alec himself leering over at me, and the two of us promptly begin to strike up a conversation. It isn't long at all before I come to an alarming realization, floored by the epiphany that my seldom-seen and devilishly attractive next door neighbor is actually a vampire. And that, moreover, he has quite the appetite when it comes to devouring female flesh...
