Beth had never been special, or at least she didn’t think she was, and while a Real Estate Agent in New York City she didn’t consider herself one of the best. She had heard John Shrine’s name and had seen him in pictures, mostly because he wasn’t just a bachelor but he was also a billionaire and incredibly sexy, but that did not prepare her for the moment she saw him in person. Granted she was caught off guard as he had just accidentally knocked her down some stairs but that was a detail she would rather forget. When he volunteers to stay with her when she can’t go to sleep with her concussion, she knows she has to stop this.
John won’t let her and she knows she’s gotten more attached to him than she should, which is only confirmed when tragedy hits her family and John pays for all the expenses. Once again curious by his motives she decides to confront him as they are working together in her apartment. Will her feelings be returned or has she been looking more into things than she should have all along?
