Short story. Thanks to Sherlock Holmes, all of Victorian London now knows that Lady Sara Northrup did not murder her husband . . . and that before her marriage, she was a celebrated Paris nightclub performer known only as La Papillon. Regretting his part in the scandal (and bereft of the sensible advice of Dr. Watson), Holmes tries to shield the lovely widow from gossip and finds himself deeply attracted to her. But the more the great detective learns about this butterfly, the more he wonders, is she really innocent after all?
