My name's Alexander Wolf, and I used to be a regular guy just going about my own business. I had no plans of changing the world or saving lives. All I wanted was to earn a decent paycheck, go home to a beautiful wife, and enjoy a beer... or three. After I got my drug problems sorted out, of course.
But, as we all know, things never go according to plan.
Everything changed when I decided to help my best friend track down a man who was threatening to destroy Lyon City. That night, I found myself inside of a mad scientist's lab holding up an ancient egg. In my hands, the egg hatched and out came Nickolai, a golden-blue dragon who immediately sunk his teeth into my forearm. This created an unbreakable link between us and transformed me into a dragon-shifter.
Now, I have to find a way to deal with these new powers all while being hunted by a psychopath whose sole mission is to exterminate every last dragon he can find.
Oh, and I have to win back my ex-girlfriend, who happens to be the love of my life, before both of our souls wither away and die.
Yeah... About that beer.

THE DRAGON'S ASHES is a complete story with no cliffhanger. It is the second book in the Heroes of Lyon City series and does not need to be read in order, unless you absolutely hate spoilers. The first book, DEEP, has been included at the end of ASHES for a limited amount of time!
