The Man at the Cemetery by Marcy Blesy
When Daniel's wife of forty years dies suddenly, he is thrown into his grief. He finds peace at the cemetery which he visits daily despite his adult children's objections. Moving through the stages of grief, Daniel speaks with his wife, sharing memories of their past and problems of his present. A surprise twist solidifies the bonds of this family as they learn to accept that the boundaries of grief cannot be defined.

This short story (approximately 7000 words) is a grieving husband's conversations with his wife. The greatest of love stories transcend time, age, and place bridging the gap into eternity.
