The longer he takes to find her, the longer she will take to tease him!

His brow wrinkled. There was something on the center cushion, and as he stepped closer he saw that his initial thought was correct – it was a tiny brass bell with a black handle, sitting on a yellow slip of paper. The paper read: ring me for a surprise.

He shrugged, and rang the bell. A moment later, his phone chimed again.

This time, instead of a text, a picture uploaded to his phone; after a moment it sharpened into focus, increasing the smile on his face and the tingling down his skin. It was a picture of her lips, slightly parted in the gentle act of a kiss. They were full and moist, and the picture was large enough to also tease the curve of her jaw and the shadowed slope of her neck, descending down into the realms of bliss which remained just out of frame.

Jack sighed contentedly. “You do know what I like,” he whispered. He took another lingering look at the picture before doing a thorough search of the room. Not here.
