Young sir Mark Dechambier's first diplomatic mission isn't off to a good start when he decides to break tensions between a nation of alienated exiles and his own technologically advanced culture by leaping into the ocean - a decision which completely makes sense at the time. Before long, Mark's cultured and entirely homophobic habits are falling by the wayside as the passionate, bestial Lupine man teaches him necessary lessons about what it means to be human - and what it means to be something more.
