Bearly There by B.N. Kasner
On the run from a cruel alpha, Ella Wilson is hiding in the Oregon forest. If she can just avoid shifters she should be fine. Things hadn't worked out well for her last time. Mason Callahan is the alpha of Dark Oaks, a bear sleuth that has been in his family for generations. All of his time is dedicated to being alpha. He doesn't know any other way of life. Fate, however, works in mysteries ways, you never know what she has in mind.

Mason was leaning against the Jeep, and somehow he had changed from his boxers into jeans and a navy blue t-shirt. That man is sexy as sin. She was enjoying her unobstructed view of her mate when the door shutting behind her made him turn towards her. Even from the distance, she could feel his eyes caressing every inch of her body. She shivered and it wasn't from the cold. Ella felt her new panties getting wet, and as Mason stalked closer to her, they only got wetter. What was the point in wearing these again? He grabbed her neck with both of his hands roughly, exciting her more. It didn't hurt her, and she liked how he couldn't control his raw desire for her.
"I want our first kiss to be romantic, but I swear little wolf, you are trying my patience." He growled in her ear, his lips brushing against her lobe with every word. She bit her lip to keep a moan in. "You look delicious." He pulled back and surveyed her again. "Fuck me." He mumbled in a daze. Ella was pretty sure she wasn't supposed to hear that and gave him a shy smile. Mason dragged his hand down the column of her throat and across her collarbone. "Goddess give me strength." He stepped away from her,but grabbed her hand and began walking towards the Jeep.
