Life can flip in the blink of an eye...
A profoundly compelling story of two families . The  dreams, love and the obstacles they must confront and overcome.

JonSun Tang realizes his  humble background makes a relationship  with the beautiful SuAnn- the daughter of an esteemed surgeon-impossible.  But love will not be dismissed. These students at the National Taiwan University defy SuAnn's father. First,  they plan their marriage in secret . Then JonSun and SuAnn move to the United States. Strategically flipping houses in California resolves into their American dream and the  means to create a lasting legacy  for their future generations.

Nearby, the McMeri family  welcomes a baby girl and adopts a second infant, a daughter  who is half-Chinese. However, it is soon apparent that  one of the girls has a birth defect. Despite this and other challenges, the little girl is  determined to pursue her Olympic dream  in gymnastics. The thrill of flipping through the air makes her feel alive!

The paths of the two families collide when the  Tangs' son meets the McMeri girl in the third grade.  The children's bond only grows stronger as they grow up together. But their relationship is forbidden by JonSun Tang, whose plan for his  son's future is threatened by a girl who "isn't quite right."

Flipping is an engaging and uplifting novel.
