Waifs and Strays by Arielle Pierce
Russ is trapped in a job that isn't rewarding and a life without a boyfriend. Being slight, freckly and a redhead, he knows that most guys aren't going to be knocking on his door. On a night out with friends he encounters the sad sight of a homeless boy. In that moment he knows he has to do the right thing and help the young man.

Brian too knows about Luca and his homeless situation. And he knows there's bad weather coming to Boulder. After hours of looking he finds Luca just as Russ does. He instantly recognizes Russ from a class in university two years ago. Brian had been interested in Russ but was too shy to ask him out. Likewise, Russ had a crush on the tall bear-type but figured a guy like Brian would never date a guy like him.

But now is not the time to think about things like boyfriends, now they have to save Luca from the blizzard.

But are they only saving a homeless kid?

Or are they saving themselves as well?
