Matthew Jones was that boy across the lake that was always having fun and making people laugh. He was popular among the young people who gathered at Moosehead Lake in the summer and Jenny worshipped him from afar. Two years younger than he was, she was jealous of the girls that draped themselves over him and wished she could be so daring.
