Adam was laying in bed in the room he shared with his wife waiting for her to leave for the day. It was a sunny Saturday morning and she was going out with friends to go shopping for new clothes he knew she was going to be gone all day and he knew that his step-son Eric was grounded. Adam pretended to be sleeping so that he wouldn't waste time with small talk. He knew that their marriage had run its course and he had thought about leaving her, had thought about filing for divorce that was until last week when he had caught his Eric in the bathroom.
