Angela was sick and tired of being taken for granted. She just wanted someone to look past her exterior.
When Angela and her friend Molly went to The Bucket for drinks and a girl’s night out on Valentine’s Day, she had determined that it was her friend’s night and she’d be the DD. Molly’s boyfriend, Davis, was at an away rugby game and couldn’t be in, so Angela wanted to keep her spirits up.
Milo was at The Bucket List playing wingman for his friend Jeremy. He was used to it. He wasn’t what the ladies preferred with the scar that cut across his face. He didn’t even have a cool story to go with it. Take into account that he could talk geek all day, but couldn’t stammer past hello with a woman, and he was easily overlooked.
They met at the bar ordering drinks, and Angela found him intriguing with his talk of science fiction and fantasy. And he didn’t talk down to her.
Could Milo be who Angela had been looking for or will he turn out like all the others?
