Knowing of fighting arising from the south, Frida is desperate to help her people in any way that she can. Seeing that her king and kinsfolk are doing nothing to fight the oncoming threat, she teams up with Brynarr, a sorcerer, and sets out on a path towards the Borderlands, attempting to convince men in towns along the way to join their cause to fight for the freedom of Kjota.

They manage to amass quite a sizable army, much to Frida's surprise, and make arrangements to march on the sorcerers' army near the border between Kjota and the Borderlands—but little does Frida know, their army was built on a web of lies that only she can untangle.

*This is the second and last book in the Dragons Of Kjota series however it can be read as a standalone*
