Her father, owner of the town newspaper, insists she take over the business when he retires. Mature in some ways for her nineteen years, Alex has different plans, but will her growing attraction to her ex-boyfriend sabotage them? Meanwhile, there's a murder to solve.
Book Two, Fatal Divide , explores the tragic consequences of dividing a people and denying them their traditional ways. Dylan has determined to adopt his younger brothers, but faces a roadblock in the form of the Tohono O'odham government. When the head of the committee considering his adoption application is found murdered, Dylan becomes a suspect. Twists and turns mark this romantic suspense thriller, putting both Dylan and Alex at risk.
Book Three, Fatal Intent The mystery of Alex's mother's disappearance when Alex was just five years old, and her father's refusal to accept it, has haunted Alex her entire life. As she becomes more and more involved in Native American politics, Dylan worries he's losing her, and at the same time he worries she's in more danger than ever before. But with a clue about her mother's fate tantalizing her, Alex won't listen. Will Alex and Dylan finally find their happily ever after? Or has Alex's luck finally run out?
