Have A Little Faith
Gloria Herrmann
Nothing beats riding a Harley on a sunny day in Seattle, or at least that’s how Val saw it. He took pleasure in the simple things, but Val was no stranger to life handing out lemons like candy. He’d been through hell and back enough times to know that life didn’t like you too comfortable. Life must think things are going way too smoothly for him, because it has just thrown a monkey wrench in the works.
Val wasn’t looking for love, especially with the unexpected way it has found him. He’s been through enough heartbreak to last him a lifetime and had always been too quick to fall in love. Maybe it had something to do with being born on Valentine’s day, that makes it kind of hard not to be all lovey-dovey and romantic. Val knows that he’s better off alone with Cupid, his loyal motorcycle companion and Chihuahua.
Faith didn’t believe in love at first sight. But lust at first sight…you bet. What she didn’t plan on was falling head over stilettos in love with a biker, but is this the real thing? Or part of her current delusional state?
Sometimes you just need to have a little faith.
