Mail Order Bride: The Bride Tragedy by Samantha HOPE
One young woman, two sickly parents, and two handsome men can be the makings of a fairytale… or a nightmare.

Stacy Walker’s family is in the weeds. Her father’s business recently failed, and with his escalating age, he is having trouble finding work. Her mother cannot work because of a stress-induced illness that has threatened her wellbeing as of late. Stacy herself is too young to find meaningful work, yet she feels the burden of the family’s survival is on her shoulders. Desperate to save her family from ruin, she turns to an unlikely source: Matrimonial Times, a mail-order bride periodical.

Although her parents disapprove, Stacy reaches out to a man named Lewis Watson. He is young and prosperous as a supervisor in the mines and the owner of a large ranch. Upon his invitation, Stacy leaves her small home and beloved parents to see what may come of a relationship with Lewis.

To Stacy’s delight, Lewis is an extraordinarily kind man and a hard worker. Along with his friend and coachman Mashhad, he runs a beautiful ranch, works in the mines, and provides for Stacy and her family’s every need with patience and compassion. Life is going perfectly – until tragedy strikes the Watson home.

What will come of Stacy and her family? Will she survive such devastation, or will she fall victim to the whims of fate as well?
