Daimons live in a hidden realm on earth. Naberius is on earth in exile and recovery from PTSD from the Great Daimon wars. He runs a Wilderness training company serving militaries in the NATO countries. The facility is based in Greenland, but Naberius has opened a US office in California and is living there with some of his men.
Jessalyn Weiss, a nerdy girl who works in Intelligence and is ready for more in her life. She is very smart but lonely as she is recovering from an abusive relationship in her past. Her brother, Bobby is a surfer and musician. He is working at a bar owned by Naberius. Naberius and his Daimons befriend him, and he teaches them to surf.
The heroine, a nice Jewish girl, and the hero, a Daimon General, are an unlikely combination but they risk everything to mate and bind themselves to each for all eternity.
