The Fire Inside by Skye Ryan
A paranormal feast for the senses

Jessica Mills

Jessica thought that she knew everything there was to know about her family. She had a unique bond with her brother Kenneth that had them confiding in each other about everything.

Jack was her brother’s best friend and fellow firefighter and made Jessica understand her brother had a different side to him. Kenneth allowed her to believe that he was a heroic firefighter, but that was only scratching the surface. She always believed that he was destined for big things.

Jack was handsome with a rugged quality. He had her looking at him as more than just her brother’s best friend. Being close and going on the hunt for her brother’s killer was only going to bring them closer together
She wanted him and could tell that he enjoyed more than a passing glance in her direction. She just had to find a way to get him out of his clothes. She had a feeling that it was not going to take very much

Jack Stone

Jack had heard all about Jessica, but her brother’s description really didn’t do her justice. She was everything that he was looking for in a woman. Seeing her again at the time of her brother’s demise was not ideal. Jack had seen too much to turn back and he felt compelled to tell her the truth about her brother’s untimely end.

Jack had a unique relationship with her brother Kenneth. He may have looked polished on the outside, but underneath there was a wild bad boy ready to play by his own rules. It was hard for Jack to wrap his mind around that he was a biker enthusiast like himself. They had met as potential firefighters, but Kenneth soon joined the crusade to help mankind.
Jessica was a sight to behold. Her curves showed that she was comfortable in her own skin. That confidence exuded from her like a very intoxicating perfume. Jack could sense her willingness to mix business with pleasure but he didn’t want to do anything to betray her brother’s memory.

Having her join in bringing her brother’s killer to justice was making his temperature rise. He didn’t want her to know the truth. His emotions were heated. The way she looked at Jack was making his inner beast resurface. The flame between them was like a burning candle…it would not extinguish until they did something about it.

This is a full-length standalone paranormal dragon shifter romance. No cliffhangers, and as always, Happily Ever After guaranteed.
