Caleb suffers from severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after surviving a school shooting his sophomore year in high school. Now, after a year of homeschooling and a lot of therapy, he’s starting his senior year at a new school. He’s terrified that he’ll never have a normal life and that in making friends he’ll be spitting on the memory of his best friend who died saving his life.
Tank only cares about football and enjoying his last year of high school. He’s not ready for the next chapter to begin because that means a new school and new expectations. He thinks his life couldn’t get any more perfect until he meets Caleb. Caleb shows him that his glorified life was just a façade without someone to share it with. Tank also learns that he’s the only one that can save Caleb from his crippling PTSD. Breath to Breath he gives Caleb the fighting chance he needs.
