Four months after their first date, Reed is in trouble. He is falling for Kate, she has resolved her past, and both want more. There’s just one problem. Reed still hasn’t shared his secret. The truth cannot be kept forever, but right now one thing is more important. He lost a night with Kate, and intends to get it back.
Kate plans to take Reed to a shooting range and share the military part of her background. But she is not the only one with a plan. Reed has managed to enlist one of Kate’s roommates, learning enough to alter Kate’s designs. The plan may be clever, but a third party has their own agenda. Summer has arrived, and the weather is not the only thing that’s heating up . . .
