Ebony and the Pirate Captain

When Captain Maximo York decides to fulfill his dying grandfather’s wish to travel to Thaobia, he never expects to find himself captivated by the country’s rugged beauty or to meet someone like Miss Ebony Roth, the priest’s daughter who often disguises herself as a young man. She’s spunky, intelligent, gorgeous, and a thief. On their very first meeting, she plucks his money purse from his hand and leads him on a chase through town.

Little does Maximo know that in a matter of days, his lovely enemy will become his bride. The unexpected marriage puts him in the position of living with a woman he desires while knowing that he has to keep his lips and hands to himself if they want to have the marriage annulled once danger has passed.
