The Mermaid of Monarch Beach

Carlene isn't your average housewife. She lives with her human husband and their two children. Oh, and her ancestors include magical feminine figures that date back to ancient times. Those relatives are all gone now. As far as Carlene knows, she is the only mermaid left in the ocean.
Will her children who are half mer and half human become like her one day or is she destined to be the last of her kind?
A nefarious group, called The Mermaid Guild, is buying up all the property along Monarch Beach and some of their members have far too much interest in Carlene's daughter. What is their interest in her child? Do they know Carlene's secret?
