Sara & Simon: #1 (Life's Too Short) by Joyce Jordan
When his parents plane crashed, Simon is left taking care of his three siblings. Barely out of college, he makes the best of what he can to make sure that his siblings grow up relying on each other and the family remains tight knit. Because his main focus is on his family and the business, Simon has no time for a meaningful relationship.

Things change when Simon meets Sara. For a second, he believes that she might be his younger brother’s older girlfriend. Lucky for him, Thomas quickly corrects his misassumption, giving Simon the go-ahead to form a relationship with Sara. With a warning, however, not to mess up little brother’s friendship with Sara.

The only relationship Simon wants and can afford is sexual. Nothing more. Unfortunately for him, Sara is trying to have 'me time' and has no time for any romantic entanglements. Not after the bad marriage, that she barely managed to escape with her life still intact, not counting the loss she is still trying to come to terms with.

When Simon’s brother, Thomas, is in danger, Simon seeks Sara out for comfort. Their fear for his life brings them closer together than anything ever could. A beautiful romance that neither Sara nor Simon could have ever foreseen begins. It is, however, tested while it is still in its infancy when Sara has to drop everything and fly back home to take care of a sick relative. What if anything, will Simon do or say, during her time of need?
