The Last Firebreather

Legend has it, that for centuries dragons have only bonded with men of a certain kind. That changes when farm girl, Mirry, finds a lone dragon in the forest near her home. Bonding with the dragon takes Mirry to a new life at the garrison where she plans to train as a dragon rider. Not everyone is accepting of a female rider though, and when her secret is exposed, Mirry and her mentor, Teon, along with Teon’s pen boy, Collitt, are forced to escape with their dragons.

They are hunted. They are betrayed. They find love. They find allies and a new family.

Can they overcome the seemingly insurmountable obstacles in their path and forge a peaceful life for themselves and their dragons? And, together, can they be the birth of a new legend?
