Unfortunately, no maiden has ever accepted Alain's proposals. Adding to his troubles is Baird Eastream, a leader of the sea folk that travel the currents of the Flotnar Sea. He also has a hobby of slaying dragons, flirting with maidens—and picking fights with Alain.
