Gabe: The Rock Star by Lizzie England
After her father dies and her boyfriend dumps her because there’s no inheritance, Malia Jenkins decides she needs to do something different, something to rekindle her love of singing and songwriting. So after hearing about The Fantasy Experience and an option to sing for a fake audition, she jumps at the chance. Not only will it force her to sing in front of others again, but she’ll also get an hour alone with one of the judges, giving her a chance to flirt with no strings attached and prove she doesn’t view all men as jerks.

Gabe Castillo had been a chart-topping rock star as the lead vocalist for the band 39th Rover. However, a creative block has kept him from writing any new songs for over a year. One of his friends had the same problem and became an actor for The Fantasy Experience, and before long, had been writing new songs with gusto. Gabe tries the same thing, but with no success. At least until he hears the beautiful voice of one of the clients. When he meets her face-to-face, soon after, a song rushes forth. More than that, he wants her for more than his muse. He wants her by his side, always, as his wife.

Malia is afraid of having her heart broken again, but Gabe convinces her to give him a chance. Will he be able to prove he’s a good man and would be the perfect match? Or, will Malia keep her heart closed off and run back to Texas?

NOTE: The hero is a rich, sexy rock star who knows what he wants and will do anything to get it. There’s also enough steam to fog up every window in your home, maybe twice over. If either of these aren’tyour bag, then walk away now. Otherwise, join The Fantasy Experience and see if you can stand the heat. (A happy ending with no cheating.)
