Broken in Battle

Laramie has dealt with her fair share of loss, from the loss of her battalion brothers, to the loss of her leg, and now, the sudden and unexpected loss of her fraternal twin, Robert. She struggles with a reason to hold on when her brother's friend, Eric, reaches out to her.

Eric has longed to be with Laramie, but he knew Robert believed that Laramie deserved more than some guy in the military who couldn't offer her the life she really deserved. But with Robert gone, Eric feels more drawn to Laramie than before and he's tired of hiding his feelings.
