Blind Vengeance: Final Justice - A Damien Kaine Thriller by Victoria M. Patton
Lieutenant Damien Kaine and FBI Agent Dillon McGrath, are just starting to get back to some kind of normalcy, in the aftermath of their last case; when their trip to Dillon's grandparent’s farm is cut short by a brutal murder back in Chicago. Ending Damien’s and Detective Joe Hagan’s suspension from the VCU, weeks earlier than they expected.

The murder sets Damien on a chase for a killer who is several steps ahead of him and his team of detectives. When Dillon is allowed to help in a limited capacity with the case, it will take her profiling expertise to unravel the mystery driving this brutal killer.

But things aren’t as they seem.

At first, it looks as if a sadistic torturer is killing people at random. However, as a connection between the murders becomes all the more apparent, Damien realizes the killer is enacting his form of vigilante justice.

As the investigation expands, it points to a heinous and sinister reason behind the brutal killings, forcing Damien to make a decision that goes against the very reason he became a law enforcement officer. But for his sanity, and his love for Dillon, he may need to do something he has never done before. And it may be asking too much.
