A Walt Johnson Western: Bitter Vengeance by Malcolm Hotzman
The first Western in a brand-new series from Malcolm Hotzman! Ride with one of the great Western series of today!

Walt Johnson is a hard-working, hard-drinking man, who prefers to spend his days outdoors, working on his small ranch, tending to a few head of cattle and small herd of quality horses. The tranquil life that Walt enjoys is disrupted when his younger brother, Jake, is shot in the back and left for dead on the side of the road. Jake survives, and Walt begins searching for the responsible party. Although there is no direct evidence to support his premise, Walt is convinced the culprit is Slade Wilson, former sheriff of Dry Bones, Arizona, and husband of one of Jake’s many girlfriends. Aided in his search by Tom Jackson, current sheriff of Dry Bones, and a new-found friend, Little Eagle, a Yaqui Indian and expert horseman, Walt uncovers a horse rustling ring that he also attributes to Slade Wilson. As the story unfolds, he is proven to be partially correct.
