The Amish Quilt and Tea Society

Recently widowed, and with a young son and another one on the way, Mary Beth Schrock, a young Amish woman, was facing her first Christmas alone with her little ones and away from her friends and family back home. She moved to Lancaster County, from Ohio, with her husband Zebulon the previous summer not knowing that tragedy would soon befall them. Now alone, she depended on the support she received from her best friend, Ruth, and Ruth's family.
Ruth had started a quilting club called 'The Amish Quilt and Tea Society'. It was more than a monthly quilting frolic, it had become a sisterhood of the Amish and Mennonite woman living in the area. They not only made quilts for themselves and charity, but they also had a fellowship through having afternoon teas. It was their time together that helped Mary Beth overcome her loneliness.
It was at one of those meetings at Ruth's house, Mary Beth met Joshua, Ruth's brother, whom she had never seen before. It was a meeting that would soon change everything.
Through misadventures with her young son, Jamie, Mary Beth realized she could no longer handle her life on her own. Should she leave all her new friends she came to depend on and go back home to Ohio? She would have to make a decision soon.
