Struggling to connect with her grandson, Eleanor tells him the story about how she once suffered a tragic loss the day before Christmas. She thought she would always hate Christmas and never be happy again until she rediscovered a forgotten childhood Christmas list. Eleanor decided that, if she can accomplish one thing off her list every Christmas, it will heal her heart and set her on her path again. When the list takes her to an old town in Europe, Eleanor strives to check the last two things off her list and, along the way, rediscovers the magic of Christmas.
