Gwen and the gargoyles rescue all of us--me and my fellow lab rats--and take us to Scotland, where Bogdan has a mansion.

We might have gotten away from the lab, but that doesn't mean we escaped. DEE isn't going to let its test tube babies get away that easily. They've invested too much in us, and they know what special powers we possess.
And it's going to take every one of our special powers and the help of the shifters to fight the soldiers DEE sends our way. Some of which happen to be demons. Yeah.
While we're fighting demons, I'll be fighting the overwhelming feelings Bogdan is stirring in me while trying to ignore the looks he gives me. And fighting the urge to jump on him. Repeatedly.
Oh, and we might just throw in a trip to the Dark Ages.
