“Oh, my goodness! Oh, my goodness!” Ellie Greenlin leaned forward in her seat. Surely she must be mistaken….wasn’t she? Ellie tilted her head a fraction of an inch, as if she could view the person a little bit better. But….no. The man, swinging his muscular arms back and forth, standing in a pair of black shorts, was gleaming with sweat and about to participate in a mixed-martial arts battle.


“Is that who I think it is?” Della asked her younger sister. When Ellie did not respond, Della glanced toward her left. Ellie continued to stare at the center of the ring, as if she were completely flabbergasted. “Ah, Ellie….is that Rowdy?” 
Ellie opened up her program, started frantically flipping through it….. and there he was. Rowdy McColt. Mixed martial arts fighter. And Ellie gasped again in complete shock. Complete surprise. Complete disbelief. And a completely overwhelming sensation that the man would be okay. Rowdy had to be okay…..he just had to. 
And when the announcers introduced the fighters over the intercom, Ellie knew that the man in the octagon ring, was indeed ….her boss.
