Love From Another Star: A short story about not recognizing what's right in front of you
Di Jones

Tamara Ashton seems to have it all: natural talent, a new movie, and all the trappings that a Los Angeles lifestyle can deliver. That's until the morning she arrives on the movie set and is fired. It's not a surprise to her really, because her behavior has been temperamental, to say the least. But she can blame her bad conduct on her heartbreak over her recent divorce, can't she?
When she realizes that there is no going back to the luxurious lifestyle she had, she has no option but to move forward. But her mind keeps dragging her back to her distant past, stirring half-forgotten memories. Tamara begins to wonder if the homeless man she passes every day - but barely notices - is someone she used to know.
As Tamara goes to seek him out, to see if he is someone from her past, events change the course of her life forever.
This short story is bite-sized for consumption in a single sitting. It's perfect for lunch or bedtime reading, a commuter journey, or any other time when you want an uplifting short read.
