This series revolves around the owner and employees of Kauffman’s Kitchen, an Amish restaurant in Creekside Mills, catering to English and Amish alike. The happy atmosphere has made the restaurant popular for many years. You'll meet and get to know Priscilla, Lily, Sandy, David and their friends.

This 4th book features Priscilla, the owner of Kauffman's Kitchen. Even though her restaurant is successful, there's a part of her that believes she simply isn't meant to be happy in this life. It seems that almost everything she cares about has been taken from her and her life has been difficult ever since her husband died several years ago.

Now, just when Priscilla is starting to feel comfortable with her life as it is, in comes an Amish man, Mark to run a feed store next to the restaurant. He's handsome, kind, and everything Priscilla wishes for in a man. He even helps her out while she struggles with her son, Jonathan, who suffers from epilepsy.

Priscilla is just starting to learn to love again when her life falls apart in front of her eyes: Jonathan's epilepsy takes a turn for the worse, and a circumstance arises where she determines she will never, ever be able to trust Mark again...
but more importantly, she must find a way to trust in God's goodness again...
