Lucy Keston never takes a break.

Ever since middle school, she’s always kept her homework close no matter what holiday disrupted her class schedule. When she got older, she filled what little free time she had with volunteer work and independent studies; anything to make her resume look even better.

So when the last break before college graduation comes about, her best friend Sierra is determined to make sure she lives a little first.

But the vacation isn’t just for the two of them. There’s also Sierra’s boyfriend Tate as well as his friends Shane and Orion. While their ideas of a good time are usually different from hers, she’s determined to prove to Sierra wrong. That she can have fun without her nose buried in a book.

In the midst of living a little, Lucy finds herself in the middle of not one, but two relationships.

After her initial instinct to run away, Lucy decides to embrace the new path that life has set out for her. And in the end, she finds more than she’s ever bargained for.
