As a vintage shop owner, I love antiques and the stories and history they represent and come with.
What I don’t like is all the mess that goes into finding them. Some of the places and people you encounter in order to discover them can be unpredictable. I don’t like unpredictable.
So, I leave the actual hunting up to people like Robert while I stay in the safety and comfort of my shop. It’s an arrangement that’s worked great for years.
But now he’s finally convinced me to go into the uncertain world of treasure hunting with him.
He says he’ll keep me safe, and I want to believe him.
I just hope he’s right…

I love getting in the muck of things and finding hidden treasures. The whole process is so satisfying.
Not knowing what is around the next corner or what unexpected treasure you’re going to uncover next is exhilarating.
The thrill of the hunt.
I’ve known Victoria for years but it’s only since I finally convinced her to come with me on an antique sourcing expedition that I’ve seen her in a new way.
Getting closer to Victoria makes me realize that she herself is the greatest treasure that I’ve been hunting for all along.
There isn’t anything I won’t do to protect something so precious.
