Carlos & Cassidy: A Hood Love Story

Twenty-three-year-old Cassidy Wells is young, beautiful, and full of ambition. Her life was going exactly how she wanted. She managed to hold down a full-time job while also attending school full-time as a criminal justice major. Just when she thought that she was on top of the world, everything came crashing down. Due to the pandemic, her job terminated her employment. Feeling hopeless, Cassidy’s struggles began as the hustle within her emerges. Refusing to feel defeated, she does whatever it takes to keep a roof over her head, and her classes paid for; including, committing robberies with her cousin, Dawnae.

Carlos Dugan is a man who has it all. Not only does he run a successful trucking business, but he also happens to be one of the biggest drug dealers in Texas. Women would kill to be with the young and sexy hustler. However, Carlos isn’t impressed at how they throw themselves at him. Instead, the hopeless romantic inside of him desires to be with one woman. When Carlos meets Cassidy for the first time, he believes that he’s finally found what he’s been looking for. However, he’ll soon find out that there’s more to Cassidy than her sweet and timid demeanor.
