The Keeper (Amish Country Brides) by J.E.B. Spredemann
Susan Miller is discontent with her Amish life, and resents the fact that her sisters’ marriages have left her with all the hard work at home. Worse yet, annoying Josh Beachy shows up to help work on their farm, creating even more disruption. So she decides to do something drastic—leave the only life she’s ever known. But when Susan finds herself in trouble, only then does she begin to rethink her choices.

When Joshua Beachy’s family moves to a new Amish district in Indiana, he doesn’t expect to meet “Spitfire” Susan Miller. He’s never known a feisty Amish woman like her. While he admits that he finds her attractive, he knows the best course of action is to steer clear of her. And that’s what he does, until she disappears one night.

Josh now feels compelled to watch after her, and insure no harm will befall her. But how can he keep her safe and maintain his good standing in the Amish community? Worse yet, how can he keep himself from falling in love with her?
