Not Quite a Princess: A Sweet Romantic Comedy by Karly Stratford
I didn’t mean to fall for the guy
Bosses are supposed to be boring
This one…not so much.

Mistakes were made.
First, I grossly underestimated the stubbornness of an old woman. My lack of professional editing experience doesn’t mean I can’t write a killer television script for her most popular book series. The story is close to my heart, shouldn’t that be enough?

Apparently not.

Time to get a job that will give me some editing creds.

Second, in hindsight it may not have been the wisest choice to accept Dakota Jones’ offer to work with him.

Who knew that keeping things professional between us would be pretty much impossible? Anyone can see how tall, dark, and handsome he is. What catches me by surprise is his rugged charm and epic…niceness.

I’m talking Montana nice.

Third, I should have asked what his favorite movie was before I sat down in the office. If he quotes Princess Bride to me one more time I might be in trouble.

Fourth, wearing a white blouse to a not-date dinner in the dark is a bad idea.

Will Winifred and Dakota find their happily ever after before their wicked witch of a supervisor ruins their lives, or will they let the proverbial pea under the mattress keep them apart? Find out in this modern-day Princess and the Pea retelling.
